I used my last Swiffer Wet Jet Pad this week and vowed to never buy a box again. I’ve seen a lot of posts on Pinterest with the topic of Reusable Wet Jet Pad. But most of them are tips on how to sew your own or modify other reusable pads to make them fit the Wet Jet mop. I don’t have time for that right now so I opted for another solution. I found mop pads
on Amazon and they work perfectly!
Check out these ZFLow Wet and Dry Mop Pads . They are actually more effective than the official Swiffer Wet Jet Pads! They are great for dry sweeping too. First I do a pass with one of the pads to sweep up dirt and debris that a mop would just push around. Then I swap out a clean pad and start mopping. They stick right on to the wet jet mop so no need to sew on straps or flaps! They adhere to the Wet Jet mop so well that they are almost hard to get off. So no worry about them coming off mid mop.
You will notice from the pictures that the ZFLow Wet and Dry Mop Pads are wider than the Wet Jet mop. This wasn’t a problem at all for me. In fact, it actually helped wipe down the baseboards while I mopped!
To clean the reusable wet jet pads just throw in the washing machine with other cleaning rags and towels. Dry on low heat or hang to dry.
Below is a picture of the bottom of the pad after mopping. You can see the cleaning liquid is only on the portion under the mop which is how it helps dust baseboards. Note: I mopped with this reusable Wet Jet pad right after using my last official Wet Jet Pad. Yuck!
