My son recently turned 6 and like many kids wanted a Star Wars themed birthday party. I found tons of ideas on Pinterest (or course)! But it was a little overwhelming to decide. Hopefully this post will help make your next Star Wars party go a littler easier.
Star Wars Party Favors
There are many cute Star Wars favor ideas. My favorite was the bubble wand lightsaber idea from The Contemplative Creative. They were very easy to make and the kids loved them!
Tip: Make sure to use painters tape or masking tape to keep the black spray paint off the clear plastic. I also used a sheet of paper for added protection since the spray is hard to control.
I bought glow bracelets to go with the lightsaber favors. Once you’ve used all of the bubbles you can fill it with water and the glow bracelet and you get a glowing lightsaber!
We also gave each child a Star Wars pencil. The kids were excited about the pencil too since it’s back-to-school time!
Star Wars THEMED Party Decor
We had a pool party so Star Wars beach balls were a must. But even if you are not having a pool party you can still use them as decoration!
Especially the Death Star beach ball. It really looks cool and is very large. They even have one that is 6 feet tall!
At Target I found great classic Star Wars paper plates and gold plastic utensils that are C-3PO color! I found these napkins on Amazon for a great price!
I decided to keep it simple with black and white cupcakes. These adorable cupcake toppers are from Etsy seller EasyPeasyByAllison. You purchase the digital pdf and print and cut them out at home. They turned out so cute!
